Account "ACCESS PANEL"

A unique, powerful, and easy to use web interface to your website. Through it, you can modify request and change services, and customize your account to meet your needs. AP also includes our fully graphical file manager through which you can maintain your site with ease!

CGI-BIN access

Having your own CGI-BIN directory is a rare thing with web hosting companies. We've seen webhosting companies who ALLOW you to have a CGI-BIN directory but not allow telnet access!. We find this really superficial since without telnet access, there is hardly any use for a CGI-BIN directory. However, many people find this very service useful, so we provide it. It allows you to install custom site searchers, guest books, and the like.

Can I pay by check, wire , or western union?

You sure can. You have to prepay 3 months though.

Just send the check/wire over and We will set you up as soon we recieve your check.

Detailed Web usage statistics

All accounts include access logs for your entire site. These allow you to track who is using your site how. It shows statistics on when your site is being accessed, where it's being accessed from, which pages are accessed the most, and other useful information.

MB/mo. data transfer

The MEGABYTES of transfer you are allowed. A simple web site should take no more then 2000 MB's , a regular package. A graphic intense web site takes around 5000 MB, a advanced package. A graphic intense, popular web site takes around 15000 MB , the mega package.

Mail forwarding

By default, ALL mail is set up to automatically forward to the e-mail address that was provided when your account was set up. This e-mail address is called the "default" mail forwarding address. This address can be changed in E-mail Settings within your Control Panel. By default, you do not need to set specific forwarding options for specific addresses associated with your domain name. (e.g. webmaster@yourname.com, sales@yourname.com, etc.) as long as you want any and all e-mail addressed to your domain name to go to your default e-mail address.

You can also set up to 10* specific mail forwarding options for e-mail addresses which are to forward to an address other than the default. You can easily do this from your account Access Panel.

The 10 rows are reserved for specific mail forwarding options. For example, if your default forwarding address is at AOL, but you want sales@yourdomain.com to forward to an address at Compuserve, your mail forwarding options would look like so:

All e-mail not specifically forwarded will be sent to:

@yourdomain Forwards to:

*** Important ***

You do NOT need to list the usernames that you wish to forward to the to the default address in the 10 rows. This is actually redundant.
Also, only list a single e-mail address within each box. Attempting to forward mail to more than one address (e.g. Forwards to: bill@aaaa.com, bob@aaaa.com, barb@bbbb.net) may cause problems. The E-mail Settings interface is NOT configured to handle multiple forwarding addresses.

Forwarding E-mail received from an Additional Domain Name (Domain Pointer)
If you wish to be able to receive e-mail addressed to a Domain Pointer, you will need to set up a mail forwarding option for your original domain account as follows:

@yourdomain Forwards to:

In this example, any e-mail addressed to your additional domain, xyz.com, would get forwarded to user@compuserve.com.

Megabyte disk space

This is the amount limit of space you are allowed on our servers. If you require more space ; upgrade to the next package.

Password Protected Pages

Password protection allows you to reserve areas of your website for specific people. If you wish to restrict all or parts of your sites to people who have obtained a password from you, you can do so easily through our Access Panel. This will only require that you keep up a valid list of usernames and passwords. For example, you might have a phone number listing available only to your customers, or something of the sort.

Pre-installed CGI scripts

We provide already made scripts for your convenience. Our counter script gives you a variety of formats to display a count of the number of hits on one or more of your pages. Our form program mails the output of a web form to an address of your choosing, allowing you to process information from your web pages. Use of all these scripts is easy and unrestricted.

SHELL ACCESS

Few web hosting companies allow you to have a shell on their system, because they consider that it slows the server down way to much. However, we feel that you deserve this facility, as it makes not only administration of your site easier, but allows you to compile custom cgi-scripts, and maintain other options, like password protection, with relative ease.

Our system has all the development utilities you could want. C/C++ compilers, perl, tcl, shell scripting, and just recently, a java development system as well!

Server side includes

This allows you to incoporate CGI/programs into your html files. Files with SSI's should be named with the extension .shtml instead of .html

What happens if I go over my allowed bandwith?

If you go over the package's bandwidth limit, Each extra gig is $8 or you can upgrade your package.

Your own IP

Your Virtual host comes with your dedicated static IP address.
